The Mixed Cajón has a double playing surface, a Peruvian playing surface on one side and a flamenco playing surface on the other. Partially sealed and without snare, the traditional Peruvian side offers round, soft and pure low tones that have characterized the Peruvian Cajon for generations. Turn over the Cajón and the player can draw from a more aggressive, modern sound snares common to modern flamenco style cajons. Using dehydrated wood 8-10 degrees humidity. All our Cajóns are assembled with dovetail joints. Body in solid wood.
